The Canon AL-1 QF is a special little camera that doesn’t get nearly as much love as its more popular siblings, the AE-1 and the AV-1.
What does the AL-1 have to offer that the others don’t?… a clever little quick focus system (Hence the QF in the name) that helps you get more acurate with your manual focusing. It’s a particularly useful feature for anyone that wears glasses- A series of lights inside the viewfinder indicate in red if you’ve focused too far, or too near and will display a green light when your focus is spot on.
